Did you know that stretching is not just for gymnasts? It’s also for you?

We always talk about importance of exercise and often times stretching is neglected. I’ve seen clients put in amazing effort into the training session and when it would be time for cooldown and stretching they had to get back to office. But the truth is our muscles need stretching to presume activities of daily life. Also, to maintain a range of motion in the joints otherwise muscle gets shorter and tight. When you need muscles to do their job, well they might just disappoint you. Because they might still be weak and need help to lengthen to their capacity.

Stretching can help reduce your chance for injury, joint pain, strains and muscle damage. For example, sitting on a chair all day results in tight hamstrings in the back of the thigh. That can make it harder to extend your leg or to straighten your knee all the way, which affects walking.

With a body full of muscles where do you start? How can you realistically stretch every single muscle of the body every single day?

Good news is that it can be done with an effective program design. And it can take as little as 10 minutes of your time.
